Battaglia is best known as a creative director with over 30 years of experience in motion graphics, digital design and visual communications. He has been drawing, painting and sculpting in various media since his formative years. Battaglia’s latest work is a culmination of his venture into welded steel sculpture as a result of attending the National Art School's Public Works program from 2015-2020. His work Bird Geometry #1, 2 + 3 made its debut at Sydney’s Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi in 2017 and was purchased by a known private collection. His work Without End was selected as Judge's Choice at the inaugural Les Sculptures Refusées held at Q Station, Manly in 2020.
